Canyoning description
This activity consist in descending natural canyons that have been formed by the force of water.
Throughout the journey you come across huge rocks, big jumps into pools of water, scrambling up rocks and swimming trough rapids, combining at the same time techniques of both mountaineering and potholing with walking in water, abseiling and ropework, and some swimming.
Canyoning Level I: Family Canyoning. Trip length: 1h30 to 3h. From 8 years old.
Canyoning Level II: Beginners Canyoning. Trip length: 2h30 to 3h30. From 14 years old.
Canyoning Level III: Advanced Canyoning. Trip length: 3h to 8h. From 16 years old, previous experience required.
Canyoning: Equipment you need
You have to bring: Mountaneering boots or trainers (these will get wet), Swimsuit, Towel
We provide you: Neoprene suit and jacket, Helmet, Ropes and harnesses.
Canyoning: Requirements
You need a level of general fitness which would allow you to spend a full day walking and no suffer vertigo. It is essential that participants are able to swim.
